“Great experience. Tickets direct were not available so we were happy to pay a little extra for tickets this way. Entry was smooth and on time despite crowds- staff at the gate were quick to turn people back if they arrived at the wrong time. We got there 15 minutes before the time on our ticket and were allowed in. Tickets came through via email and WhatsApp a couple of days before. Excellent communication from the booking team. Would recommend using one of the alternate entrances to the Forum (gate 7 is what we used and we queued for just over 20 minutes to get in), as gate 2 opposite…”

“There are so many other tour options—do yourself a favor and use any other tour! They change the time of the reservation once it’s past the cancellation window and then tell you that they can’t accommodate you despite having had this reservation for months. Was able to book our desired time with a different tour immediately after- they’re running a scam with this one hoping people just pay and don’t care about the start time.”

Children are admitted to the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum for free, but ours were charged anyway because of that useless app called "Ola Guide", which is just a Wikipedia geolocated repack (it requires play store services, so rejoice ungoogled phone users)”

The audio guide was good, but definitely would prefer a person for tour guide for next time. It was hard to listen and navigate through the Colosseum at the same time.
