“The tour itself was absolutely fantastic. DO NOT MISS the audio guided tour of the penitentiary. It is a must see and a truly memorable experience. The only downside is the price. This is essentially the same ticket you can buy from the official tour operator but at nearly double the cost. That said, the advantage is that when the official tickets are sold out you can often still find availability here, which was the case for me. While the convenience was appreciated just be aware of the price difference.”

We already have our 4 days planned pretty tightly. The company did get us in a day tour for the last day we were there, which cost almost double had I booked directly through the Alcatraz site. Overselling is not ideal but taking 3 days to communicate the issue was unacceptable.”
